TEEN THERAPY
TEEN THERAPY
Teenagers experience intense changes and feelings, and the pandemic has only exacerbated the challenges.
You may be feeling pressure from school, home, peers, relationships - and yourself. You may worry about your future, your friendships, and whether you’re good enough at this and that. When too much pressure happens over a period of time, it may become a weight that feels like sadness, depression, shame or guilt.
Therapy for teens can help you understand what is getting you down or anxious to help you figure out the actions you want to take to feel better and build resilience. An essential component of the work with teens includes ongoing support and consultation with parents and/or caregivers. This offers us opportunities to discuss concerns, progress and how the family system can work together to better support their teen.
